Rafaqat Ali Khan
Ustad Rafaqat Ali Khan is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and musician. Trained as a classical singer, he is the son of the classical music singer Nazakat Ali Khan. With a career spanning over two decades and getting formally trained by his father and uncle from an early age, Rafaqat went on to earn a Master’s in Musicology from the University of Punjab.
Establishing himself as a successful artist internationally, with over a dozen credits on Indian feature film smash hit soundtracks, including Maula Maula Awarapan, Dhokha, Krrish, The Dressing Room and more recently, and his own album, Nishaan. He is known for his Kalaam style, a style of devotional poetry that is sung in the Sufi style.
Rafaqat Ali Khan has toured extensively across the USA, UK, India and has even performed at the Opera House in Oslo. Rafaqat was a featured artist on Coke Studio, Season 9. He has a scintillating presence and exuberance in his performances, which draws in a captivates audiences.
